Master9Eyes Phygital Collection
The project consists of 9 collections of 999 Master9Eyes NFT’s, each with unique traits that form the basis of the collectible mechanism. Successful collectors unlock rewards, which so far have included physical collectibles and other merchandise. Collection 3 is currently minting via the Master9Eyes website.
Daniel Hahn, the artist behind Master9Eyes, is also known as “Daytoner”. A concept artist designing for the automotive industry (Creative Director, BMW Group), Daytoner also works for leading gaming studios such as Epic Games, Bungie, and Universal. His forte is designing robots – if you’ve ever played the multiplayer first-person shooter, Destiny 2, you might have come across one of his creations. Recently Daytoner has been working on a yet to be published book of his robot art “Daytoner, Enslaving Humanity in Style”.
PureArts is one of the leading manufacturers of high-end toys and physical collectibles. They have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed, Lord of the Rings and Resident Evil. Lead by Managing Director, Arnaud Perez, PureArts is the company behind Master9Eyes. Arnaud is a Bored Ape Yacht Club holder who is active in the NFT community. As well as the Master9Eyes project, it was recently announced that PureArts would be offering BAYC owners the chance to bring their characters to life as high-end collectibles.
There are nine collectible traits. Collecting rarer traits (such as Diamond Hands or Holographic Color) between collections will result in top-tier rewards. Collectors are able to verify traits by connecting their wallet to the Master9Eyes website. Trading Master9Eyes NFT’s to complete a collection and earn rewards makes for a social and fun experience.
As you can see, the rewards from Master9Eyes are real and attractive. Master9Eyes Physical collectibles usually retail for $99 – $439 (more for 1:1 pieces), and the hoodies are damn cool!
Collection 3 Mint
The mint for collection 3, a collaboration with “Crack The Toy” is currently ongoing. Crack is an Indonesia based graffiti artist and designer:
Like many NFT projects, Master9Eyes runs regular competitions to drive community participation and engagement. “Questing” happens via the M9E Discord, and offers prizes in the form of NFT’s, Physical collectibles, original artwork and sometimes even cash in the form of ETH.
Trading volume on OpenSea has been low (35 ETH at the time of writing). Coupled with the bear market conditions, this could mean a slow burn until the next bull run. On the plus side, the team behind Master9Eyes is fully doxxed, and with impressive credentials. As PureArts is a manufacturer of high-end physical collectibles, the project could appeal to more traditional collectors when it becomes better known. Master9Eyes was displayed by PureArts at DesignerCon recently, which would have increased exposure to this “Phygital” collection. Master9Eyes will be releasing the first batch of prizes for collectors soon, which will likely have a positive impact on the community.
